Bring your Porsche out for a drive on some of the best stretches of scenic and fun roads in the state — Yarnell Hill, Peeples Valley, Kirkland Junction to Bagdad, then up-and-back on the twisty roller-coaster AZ-97. A driver's drive for sure! Lunch at the historic Kirkland's Saloon & Steakhouse will provide a unique experience. Originally part of an 1880s stage stop, and rebuilt in 1923 after a fire, the building served over time as a mercantile, post office, hotel, and rail stop, gaining National Register of Historic Places status in 1998. A tour of the building, and its history past and present will be offered after lunch.
You will choose your lunch entree when you register, but will select sides, drinks, etc. at the restaurant. You will pay your own check at Kirkland's.
The drive back to the Valley will add more fun driving. The Bagdad drive is always a popular event with club members, so be sure to register early!
