If you are an Advance Driver and have been considering becoming an HPDE Instructor, this is the first step to get in the right seat.  Regardless whether you drive with a PCA Club or any of the countless HPDE event providers, completing a recognized Instructor Training Program is a prerequisite to being invited to instruct at an HPDE event.

PCA National Instructor Training Program and MSF Level 2 Instructor Training curriculum will be administered by a PCA National Trainer.  This program satisfies both  PCA and MSF Instructor Training requirements.

The PCA National  Instructor Training program will provide you an  opportunity to develop the skills needed to instruct students wishing to improve their Performance Driving skills on a race track.

Event Organizer-led training is a hands-on, in-depth program that occurs at and on the track. It includes classroom instruction and on-track mentoring rides and puts HPDE Instructor Candidates in a position to become right-seat-qualified.

Upon successful completion of the program,  instructor candidate will be granted the opportunity to:

  • Acquire a PCA National Drivers Education Instructor Training (NDEIT) Number which is used by PC DE Event Organizers to identify Instructors who have completed the PCA National Instructor Training Program.
  • Acquire a Motorsport Safety Foundation Level 2 Certification credentials which are used by many HPDE Event Organizers to identify Instructors that have successfully completed the MSF L2 Training Program.

Note:  The completion of the program will provide you the necessary credentials for submital to the governing body.   Instructor Candidate will be expected to register with either PCA , MSF or both and pay the registration fees.
